Miniature of the Annunciation attributed to the Master of the Harvard Hannibal (a Parisian artist active in the early 15th century named after Cambridge (MA), Harvard College Library, Houghton Library, MS Richardson 32), with a gold frame and foliate borders (f. 1r); lines from the Te Deum and the Gradual for the Feast of the Blessed Virgin, incipit: '[benedi]camus nomen tuum domine' and beneath 'Ad laudes' (f. 1v).
The leaf was previously inserted the other way round with the text-page (the present verso) preceding the illumination (now the recto). The offset of the miniature on f. 3r shows that the illumination was originally facing this page.
