The Benedictine cathedral priory of St Mary the Virgin, Worcester: its ownership is suggested by the contents of Cotton MS Vespasian E IV, ff. 203-210, with which Cotton MS Appendix LVI, ff. 1-4 was originally joined.
Henry Savile, of Banke (b. 1568 d. 1617), collector of manuscripts: Savile owned both Cotton MS Vespasian E IV, ff. 203-210, with which Cotton MS Appendix LVI, ff. 1-4 (see Watson, Savile (1969), pp. 48-49 (no. 158); Tite, The Early Records (2003), p. 230); purchased from his executors by Robert Cotton.
