Letter to C. [Charles] Lushington, Secretary to Government General Department, from Superintendent Botanic Garden [Wallich], 10 Oct 1825:
- refers to enclosed statement of expenses incurred by sending five boats with plants from the Botanic Garden, as authorised by Lushington in letter of 25 Aug 1825
It is ordered that
- the Sub-treasurer be directed to discharge the amount requested
- the necessary communications be made to Wallich and the Civil Auditor, and that the bill be returned to Wallich

Letter to C. [Charles] Lushington, Secretary to Government General Department, from Superintendent Botanic Garden [Wallich], 10 Oct 1825:
- refers to enclosed list of plants for the King of Oude, despatched on two boats on 3 Oct 1825 to Lucknow, soliciting that it may be transmitted to the Resident of His Majesty’s Court
- recommends measures to ensure the security of the consignment
- requests that the substance of earlier letter of 22 Aug relating to the despatch may be communicated to the Resident, who will hence be able to acquaint His Majesty with the circumstances in which the donation was authorised

Letter to Superintendent Botanic Garden [Wallich] from C. [Charles] Lushington, Secretary to the Government, 13 Oct 1825:
- acknowledging letter from Wallich of 11 Oct, with its enclosures
- informing Wallich that the list of the plants despatched to his Majesty the King of Oude will itself be despatched to his Majesty
It is ordered that
- a copy of the foregoing letter from Wallich, and the original list of plants which accompanied it, together with a copy of the reply, be sent to the Political Department, from which the necessary communication will be made to the Resident at Lucknow, Captain C. J. C. Davidson
