The collection includes a copy of the Public letter received from India, No.34 of 1869, dated 28 April 1869.
The collection also contains reports by Captain W J Seaton, Conservator of Forests, British Burma, on his visit to the chinchona plantations in the Madras Presidency in 1868, and on the measures taken by him for the formation of chinchona plantations at Plumadoe in the Hills to the northeast of Tounghoo.
