Collection of medical recipes added to the flyleaves, including:
1. ff. 1v-2r, 2v: five medical recipes; Incipit (f. 1v): 'Tansey ij handfull / febryfew j handfull / mugwort iij handfull / calamynth … // [instructions on another column] Brose þese herbes and putt to every / ij goode handfull'; incipit (f. 2v): 'Take ij sponffull of aneysse sedde iij sponffull of fenbel sede / a sponfull'. Listed in L. E. Voigts and P. D. Kurtz, Scientific and Medical Writings in Old and Middle English: An Electronic Reference, CD-ROM, 2nd edn (Ann Arbor, MI, 2006), no. 6570.50.
2. f. 2r: One medical recipe; Title: 'For youre Steue', incipit: 'Take of sowtherynwode saveyne mugworte ysope'. The recipe follows the first five recipes in item 1 (ff. 1v-2r).
3. ff. 2r-2v: One medical recipe; Title: 'This bene the herbes fore myn alle', incipit: 'Thre handfull of sawge ij handfull of Roosmary. / (f. 2v) Take ij sponfull of aneysse sedde'. Possibly the first recipe to be added to the manuscript.
4. f. 2v: Seven medical recipes; Title (f. 2v): 'Jesus u for the stone', incipit: 'Take the buddes of cherys in drye weder and drye þemm / vpoun a bedde'; continues with further three recipes on f.. 215v. Listed in Voigts and Kurtz, nos. 6058.50.
