- Collection of medical recipes compiled by Nicholas Spalding; the continuation of this text is included in ff. 137r-154v (circa 167 recipes, two less than the 169 quoted in the table of contents); Imperfect. The collection was popular and can be found in many manuscripts: see Robbins 1970; Hargreave 1981), pp. 91-113. The present copy was possibly put together for the use of Nicholas Spalding. Prologue incipit: (f. 121r): 'Here begynnyth medicynis þe good le/chis haue made and drwyn owt / of hir boky', table of chapters (ff. 121r-124v), rubric (f. 125r) 'Ffor þe heuyd', incipit: 'Mak lye of verueyne / of betayne and of wermwod and / wassh þi hed', explicit (f. 135v): 'and stamp it and temper it wt wyn Amen', followed by a note and ex-libris added by a different hand 'Qui scripsit carmen sit benedictus amen / quoth Litlingtone / Iste liber constat Nicholas Spalding'.
