A geographical and historical narrative or summary of the controversy between Daniel Nimham, Sachem of the Wappinger tribe of Indians, and Roger Morris and others of New York, heirs and representatives of Coll Frederick Philipse of New York, who was heir to Adolph Philipse also of New York, concerning a large tract of land contained within the limits of Philipse's Upper Patent, so called in the southernmost part of Dutchess County in the aforesaid Province. With the decision of the above controversy by the Council at Fort George in the City of New York, 11th March 1767. fo. 30.
