Præmittitur etiam effigies eleganter depicta, sed quæ liquido conficta est, Horatii Poetæ, devincti tempora lauro. In primo folio libri inscribuntur notæ sequentes: "This book formerly belonged to Matthias Corvinus King of Hungry. Many years afterwards it was purchased at a great price by Mr. Bridges of Lincoln's Inn. The late Lord Macclesfieid bought it at his auction, and Dr. Taylor paid twenty-five guineas for it at His Lordship's sale.
