"A brief history of the honor of Gloucester, more particularly within the county of Northampton, and the liberties and franchises of the said honor, in the several townships, hamlets, and parishes of Addington magna et parva, Aldwinckle St. Peter's, Barton Segrave, and Hanrod cum membris, Burton Latimer, Craneford St. Andrew, St. John, Deneford cum membris, Luffwick, Raundes, Ringsted, Stanyerne cum membris, Thingdon, Thrapston cum membris, Wollwencotes and Woodford." fo. 128. Mr. Umfreville remarks on this work, that it is only a fragment, compiled by Charles Hornby, Esq. who died 1739 at his seat at Ingatestone; the original, of which this is a copy, being in the bands of Mr. William Parr Johnson of Gray's Inn, the then feudary of the honour.
