1. Reports of Chancery Cases in the 9, 10, 12 and 13th years of James I., by an anonymous but able person. pag. 1. In the case of Grantham and Stone, 9 Jac. I. the privilege of the Exchequer was pleaded; on which the Lord Chancellor Ellesmore said, that no Chequer man is privileged against the Chancery, not the Lord Chief Baron-himself, unless the matter concern the King; and that if the defendant should endeavour to get an injunction to stop the Court he would commit him. And he added that he would know those lawyers that occupied their wits to justle jurisdictions of Courts together.
