King Charles II. to the Chancellor; that he would counsel Brodericke not to meddle any more with what concerns Lady Castlemaine, and denounces vengeance against him should he spread any scandalous reports of her. Wishes that he may be unhappy in this world and in the world to come, if he should fail in his resolution to make her of his wife's bedchamber, and declares his future enmity to any one that shall attempt to thwart him in his purpose.
