Kästner, 'Pseudo-Dioscoridis De herbis Femininis', Hermes, 31 (1896), pp. 578-636, and 32 (1897), p. 160. The text is listed in Thorndike and Kibre, Catalogue of Incipits of Medieval Scientific Writings in Latin, The Mediaeval Academy of America Publication, 29 (London, 1963; with supplements in 1965 and 1968) p. 347f; its electronic edition (Ann Arbor, MI, 2000), no. 347F; J. The text is followed (f. 58r) by two additions written by two different English hands (14th century):
a) Verse relating to liquorice in Latin, incipit: 'Ecce liquoricia. Si plantes sic cole plantas / Terram da pinguem non petrosam nec aquosam';
b) medical recipe in Latin, title: 'Pro certo istud collirium est verum / et probatum ad stringendi lacrimas', incipit: 'Recipe tucie alouai epatici'.
