The second unit includes a collection of medical texts:
- De anathomia (ff. 37r-38v); Rubric 'Incipit anathomia', incipit: '[S]icut asserit Galienus duplex anathomia vivorum'. The present copy is listed in L. Thorndike and P. Kibre, Catalogue of Incipits of Medieval Scientific Writings in Latin, The Mediaeval Academy of America Publication, 29 (London, 1963; with supplements in 1965 and 1968), p. 1480j; its electronic version on CD-ROM edn (Ann Arbor, MI, 2000), no. 1480J.
- Modus medendi (ff. 38v-44v); Rubric 'Incipit Modus medendi', incipit: 'Cogit me karissimi vestra dilectio immo karitas Christi me compellit ut que de dandis catarticis / vobis occultum'. The present copy is listed in Thorndike and Kibre (1963, 1965, 1968), p. 229a; and (2000), no. 229A.
- Copho?, Modus medendi (ff. 44v-46r); Incipit: 'Executo modo medendi agendum est de modo conficiendi'. The present copy is listed in Thorndike and Kibre (1963, 1965, 1968) and (2000), no. 540B.
- Johannes de Sancto Paulo, Flores dietarum (ff. 46r-49v); Rubric 'Incipiunt flores dietarum', incipit: 'Corpus hominis ex quatuor constat humoribus'. The present copy listed in Thorndike and Kibre (1963, 1965, 1968), p. 269a, and (2000), no. 269A.
- Johannes de Sancto Paulo, De simplicium medicinarum virtutibus (ff. 49v-54r); Rubric 'Incipit liber de simplici medicina', incipit 'Cogitanti mihi sepe de simplicium medicinarum virtutibus'. Other copies are Additional MS 28555 and Harley MS 2375 (ff. 76r-83r). The present copy is listed in Thorndike and Kibre (1963, 1965, 1968), p. 230a, and (2000), no. 230A.
- A text relating to herbs and medicine (ff. 54v-55r); Incipit: 'Ad membrorum ? priapi terre lanceolam'.
- Nicolaus Salernitanus, Antidotarium, Excerpts (ff. 55v-58v). Incipit: '[A]urea Alexandrina aurea dicta est ab auro Alexandrina ab Alexandro peritissimo philosopho / quam proprie valet'. - Short treatise on mental disorders (ff. 58r-60r); Incipit: '[M]ania est infectio anterioris partis cerebri'. The present copy listed in Thorndike and Kibre (1963, 1965, 1968), p. 847g, and (2000), no. 847G.
- Galenus, Ad Glauconem de medendi methodo (f. 60v); Incipit: 'Que vel quante sunt febrium diversitates / dieticos maxime medicos convenit nosse'. Text listed in Thorndike and Kibre (1963, 1965, 1968), p. 1186c, and (2000), no. 1186C.
- Small collection of medical recipes (ff. 61r-62r); Title (f. 61) '[A]d oculos clarificandos et pulcros reddendos', incipit: 'Recipe thutie coralli .r. margarite / sane'. The present copy is listed in Thorndike and Kibre (1963, 1965, 1968), p. 55k, and (2000), no. 55K.
- Guillelmus Pictavensis [William of Poitiers], Liber urinarum (ff. 62r-67v). Rubric (f. 62r): 'Liber urinarum Willelmi Pictavensis', incipit: '[U]rina t. et r circa superficiem aliquantulum obscura calorem epatis sigere'.
