The sixth unit includes:
- Short treatises relating to medicine including medical recipes (ff. 102r-109r, 109v-110r). Incipit (f. 102r): 'Contemplatio est rationis investigatio', incipit (f. 109r): 'Quoniam nulli vestrum opinor dubium esse homine ceteris animalibus digniorem'. Present copies are listed in L. Thorndike and P. Kibre, Catalogue of Incipits of Medieval Scientific Writings in Latin, The Mediaeval Academy of America Publication, 29 (London, 1963; with supplements in 1965 and 1968), pp. 259h, 1289j; and its electronic version on CD-ROM edn (Ann Arbor, MI, 2000), nos. 259H, 1289J.
- Collection of texts relating to urine and uroscopy, asma and other internal ailments (ff. 110v-118v); Incipit (f. 110v): 'Urina tenuis et alba'; incipit (f. 111v): 'Sciendum est quod omnis urina duarum rerum proprie est significativa'; incipit (f. 113v): 'Asma in macilentis hominibus non facile solvitur'; incipit (f. 114v): 'De cibo tenendo. Millefolium dabis bibere cum vino tepido'. The present copies are listed in Thorndike and Kibre (1963, 1965, 1968), pp. 1394l, 151h, and (2000), nos. 1394L, 151H.
