Foliation: ff 146. Six unfoliated paper flyleaves at the beginning and five at the end.
Dimensions: 310 x 235 mm.
Ruling: 245 x 170 mm. Leroy 32C1, 35-36 lines.
Binding: Early 19th century bindings of brown calf.
Scribe (of most of the pinax on f 146r): Μάχιμος Μαργούνιος (Repertorium 1A, no. 259).

Origin: Eastern Mediterranean.
Provenance:
Maximus Margunius (c. 1549-1602), Bishop of Cythera and Greek humanist: most of the πίναξ (vol. I, f 146r) is in his hand, as for Burney 106. Possibly owned by him: many of his manuscripts passed to the monastery ᾽Ιβήρων on Mt. Athos and part later to the Synod in Moscow (cf. Diller 1980, p. 513).
Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar: probably acquired at the same time as Burney 106.
Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818.
