Madras Public Proceedings, October 1800:
[pp 3296-3302] Letter from Dr Andrew Berry, Superintendent of the Company's Nopalry, to Lord Clive, Governor in Council, dated Fort St George, 15th September 1800, giving his observations of different kinds of fine grained woods from Calastree [Kalahasti] and Ganjam, and explaining the manner in which the specimens were collected.
[pp 3302-3316] List of some fine grained woods for the Hon'ble the Court of Directors principally from the Calastree [Kalahasti] country, with such observations as could be obtained regarding their use, abundance, etc, dated 16th September 1800. The list was enclosed with Dr Berry's letter to Lord Clive of the 15th September 1800.
[p 3317] Statement by T Snodgrass, Collector, listing fine grained wood and course grained wood in Ganjam, dated 2nd March 1800.
[p 3318] Letter from G Buchan, Secretary to Government, to Dr Berry, dated Fort St George 13th October 1800, informing him that orders had been given to the Board of Trade to embark for England the specimens of timber which he had collected, and approving of his intention to prosecute enquiries on this subject.
