[pp 350-355] Letter from Lieutenant Colonel Robert Kyd to the Secretary to Government, dated Calcutta 25th June 1790, regarding the cultivation of Mawah and Teak, and reporting that there were upwards of one thousand plants of Spanish American Napaul [Nepal] in the Company's Garden. Requests that the Cochineal insect may be procured and forwarded to Bengal for propagating in the Garden.
