Bengal Public Proceedings, 2nd July 1790:
[pp 680-683] Letter from Lieutenant Colonel Robert Kyd to David Hay, Secretary to Government, dated Calcutta 27th July 1790, regarding the benefits to the health of Europeans of the climate near the northern frontiers of India, in contrast to the dangers of returning to Europe to recover from ill health, and encloses the following papers.
[pp 683-692] Extract from a description by Thomas Daniell of his return journey from Srinagar, dated Bhagalpur 3rd June 1790. In the account, Daniell lists the plants and trees he saw on the journey, and gives a drawing of a chair he was carried in and of the general character of the country he travelled through.
[pp 692-695] Letter from Thomas Daniell, dated Bhagalpur 26th June 1790, giving some observations on the snowy mountains he saw during his journey to Srinagar.
