Contents include:
f. 2r: Ownership inscriptions.
ff. 2v-8v: Calendar, with illuminated roundels of the signs of the zodiac and labours of the month.
ff. 9r: Table for calculating the celebration of Easter within a nineteen-year cycle, said to have been communicated by an angel to St Pachomius in Egypt.
ff. 9v-12r: Added prayers in 14th-century hands.
ff. 12v-15r: Cycle of six full-page miniatures with scenes from the life of Christ (there are likely a number of miniatures missing from this prefatory cycle; see Royal Manuscripts, no. 11, for more details).
ff. 15v-178v: Psalter (with at least three leaves missing from throughout the text; see Royal Manuscripts, no. 11), as well as Canticles, a Litany, Collects, and various longer prayers.
ff. 178v-179v: Added prayers in 14th-century hands, and later ownership inscriptions.
The contents of the miniatures are:
f. 12v: God enthroned, holding an orb, with the Holy Spirit above as a dove, sending forth the archangel Gabriel.
f. 13r: The three Holy Women at the Tomb of Christ.
f. 13v: The Ascension of Christ, with Mary and disciples below.
f. 14r: Pentecost, with Mary and the disciples.
f. 14v: Christ in Majesty, holding an open book and the orb of the world, and surrounded by the four symbols of the Evangelists (the man, the lion, the ox, and the eagle) with a woman in prayer below (possibly the manuscript's patroness).
f. 15r: Tree of Jesse. On the trunk of the tree is David, holding scrolls that extend to the flanking figures of Abraham and Moses, with Mary, Christ, and the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove at the top.
f. 15v: Historiated initial 'B'(eatus) at the beginning of Psalm 1, of David holding a book with standing men behind him, with musicians and a devil below. Above the initial is a bust of Christ and the four symbols of the Evangelists, and below the initial are two lines of text that are now only visible in raking light.
f. 57r: Historiated initial 'Q'(uid) at the beginning of Psalm 51, with a scene of David killing Goliath above, and David carrying Goliath's head to Saul's palace below, while a dragon forms the tail of the letter.
f. 108r: Historiated initial 'D'(ixit) at the beginning of Psalm 109, of God and Christ, with men beneath their feet.
f. 159v: Historiated initial 'O' at the beginning of a prayer to the Holy Spirit, of a woman, possibly Mary, with a dove descending and holding a golden disc over her head.
f. 165v: Enthroned Virgin and Child, with a woman in prayer below (possibly the manuscript's patroness).
f. 168v: The archangel Michael holding souls in a cloth, with Christ blessing above.
