Four full-page miniatures, some with Anglo-Norman captions and explanatory text. Each prophet (ff. 69v-70r) carries a scroll inscribed with verses (not always correctly assigned); each Apostle (ff. 69v-70r) carries a scroll inscribed with sections of the Creed.
Decoration:
f. 67v: Miniature of the Tree of Jesse, featuring nine figures, five of whom are crowned.
f. 68r: Four-register miniature (from top to bottom): Christ enthroned, with Simon & Jude, sons of Alpheus, and John, son of Zebedee; the Virgin and Child, with James the Less, son of Alpheus, and James the Greater, son of Zebedee; the three Marys and their husbands, Joseph, Alpheus, and Zebedee; St Anne and her three husbands, Joachim, Cleophas, and ‘Salomee’.
f. 69v: Six-part miniature with a prophet and an Apostle in each section: Jeremiah & Peter; David & Andrew; Isaiah & James; Zechariah & John; Hosea & Thomas; and Amos & James the Less.
f. 70r: Six-part miniature with a prophet and an Apostle in each section: Zephaniah & Philip; Joel & Bartholemew; Micah & Matthew; Malachai & Simon; Daniel & Thaddeus; and Ezekiel & Matthias.
