- Public letter received from India, No.80 of 1861, dated 21 October 1861, stating that Mr Ritchie took his seat as an Ordinary Member of the Council of the Governor General of India on the 18th October 1861
- Public letter received from India, No.85 of 1861, dated 12 November 1861, reporting that Mr Beadon returned to the Presidency, and resumed his seat in the Council of the Governor General of India on the 1st November 1861
- Public letter received from India, No.90 of 1861, dated 28 November 1861, enclosing correspondence regarding measures adopted for preventing the reception on Emigrant vessels of old, infirm, and diseased persons, as was the case on the ship Brandon; and giving an explanation of the presence among the Emigrants embarked on that vessel of some children unaccompanied by their parents
