The collection includes a copy of the Public letter received from India, No.19 of 1862, dated 28 February 1862.
The letter also refers to the subjects of the complaints of decoying Emigrants, brought against one another by the English and French Emigration Agents at Calcutta; and to the duties of Consular Agents in French Settlements in India, who may be charged with the care of the interests of British subjects emigrating to French Colonies.
The collection contains copies of the following papers:
