Correspondence regarding the claim of the Raja of Colapore [Kolhapur] to certain lands, salt pans, and cocoanut trees situated in Malwan which had been assigned by the British Government in the year 1813 to the widow of the then late Raja of Kolhapur as a life grant. The Raja claimed the grant was a family property in consequence of its having been held by two other widows of the Rajas of Kolhapur, after the death of the original grantee.
