Letter from Pelly to the officer in charge at Bushire regarding his intention to return to Bushire via Russia and Tehran and requesting the officer meet Pelly along the Shiraz road.
A postscript to the letter gives instructions to send one white and one tortoise shell Persian cat to Mrs Brooke Smith in England and includes instructions on shipping and who to notify of their arrival at various stages on the journey.
