Vow of a soldier of Turkish ethnic origin. The soldier is a nephew of Mustafa and Ayshe Yumer. The soldier and his relatives are on the photo. According to tradition during communism, they took photos of the soldier' vow and give them to relatives as gifts. The photo gives information about an official celebration during communism, as well as about the Turkish traditions of the ritual.
