The collection consists of the following small collections of papers, each of which has a title page and an extract from the Narrative, No.12 of 1860, dated 26th May 1860:
- Coll 1, Correspondence relating to the manner in which the Dinagepore [Dinajpur] Examination Committee conducted the examination held in October 1859, at which Baboos Poorno Chunder Bannerjee and Jadub Chunder Ghose were suspected of having resorted to unfair means to enable them to pass, February to May 1860
- Coll 2, Correspondence regarding vernacular translations of the examination questions furnished to the Local Committees, so that anyone might record his answers in his mother tongue, December 1859 to May 1860
- Coll 3, J B Shadwell, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector of Sylhet, and S Nation, Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector of Backergunge, exempted from further examination, July 1859 to May 1860
- Coll 4, Proposal by Charles Steer, Commissioner of Chittagong, that a statement of the number of marks allowed by the Board of Examiners to each Examinee be furnished to the Local Committees, December 1859 to May 1860. The related correspondence refers to the case of Baboo Ram Sunker Sen.
