Vat Saen Sukharam Luang Prabang,(from left); the Chulamani stupa,Ordination hall,and Sala 80th. (Vat Saen Sukharam story): It was built by Ta Chaohang C.S.1080 (B.E.2261,A.D.1718) under reign of King Kingkitsaraj aged 239 years.Vat Saen got name from two stories as;First story,Ta Chaohang found a small stone and it has the gold stick on it then later he sold that gold got cash Kip 100.000 then bring that money to build this temple and called that ''Vat Saen''..,2nd story was ;Villagers and general people gave less donation of each person bring it gather and count got cash Kip 100.000 then bring that money to build this temple and called that ''Vat Saen''..Because it geting old and decayed.later,Pha Khamchan Virachitta Maha Thela came be the abbot and governs Vat Saen,he break down the old one and lift it up by connected the both side of ordination in A.D.1958-1962 completed and Vat Saen it has no the surname yet! he tries to find the auspicious surname of Vat Saen very long time,finally,when he went to visited Thailand and asked about this problem with the abbot of Vat Tath Phanom then he gave the Vat Saen surname word was ''Sukharam'' event name of main Buddha image called ''Saensouk image'' ,So ! Vat Saen named that ''Vat Saen Sukharam'' till nowadays
