The letter is forwarding copies and translations of various communications.
Three enclosures:
1. Translation of a letter from Shaik Mohumud Ben Nasser [Muḥammad bin Nāṣir] to [Shaikh ‘Abd al-Rasūl Khān], received at Bushire 31 March. It includes intelligence obtained concerning requests made of the Persian King by the French Ambassador.
2. Translation of an enclosure from within the above mentioned letter. The enclosure is a note likely intended for the Resident at Bushire. The author explains that he has been delayed in visiting personally, and insists that the recipient should not be overly worried about the diplomatic exchanges taking place between the French and the Persians.
3. Translation of a letter from Mohumud Nabbee Khan [Muḥammad Nabī Khān] to Nicholas Hankey Smith, received 2 April 1808. The author is reassuring the Resident that the diplomatic exchanges taking place between the French and the Persians are no threat to the British.
