The letter reports the arrival of the Bombay Grab. Woollen sales are discussed and it is noted that Shaikh Nasser has been ill since December. The letter also discusses orders received and other administrative matters including the debt owed (by the company) to the resident. The passing of the Greyhound Brig en route to Bussora [Basra] is also mentioned.
An account of the pay, salary, allowances, and monthly average accounts owed to Edward Galley in his role as Resident at Bushire is enclosed with the letter.
