The collection consists of the following small collections of papers, each of which has an extract from the Narrative, dated 26th October 1859, and a table of contents:
- Coll 1, Grant of 40 rupees per mensem for a Charitable Dispensary at Kirwee in the Allahabad Division, March to October 1859.
- Coll 2, Cash Accounts and Returns of Patients treated in the Government Charitable Dispensaries of the districts in the Agra Division (Agra, Etah, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Muttra) for the latter half of 1858.
- Coll 3, Report of the Agra Medical School and the results of the examination at the close of the 4th winter season of the institution, March 1859.
- Coll 4, Half-yearly Returns of patients attached to the Ajmere and Nyanuggur Government Charitable Dispensaries, from the 1st July to 31st December 1858, with related correspondence.
- Coll 5, Report on the Agra Medical School, by its Superintendent, Dr G R Playfair, dated 25th April 1859, with related correspondence.
- Coll 6, Correspondence regarding the purchase of materials for the Government Press, Allahabad, January to October 1859.
- Coll 7, Correspondence regarding experiments undertaken by C Currie, Officiating Collector of Boolundshuhur [Bulandshahr], to manufacture rope from the fibre of the stalk of the common cotton plant, March to October 1859.
- Coll 8, Sanction, for a further period of six months, the entertainment of a harkara, on the road to Patun, in that Zillah, till a new revenue settlement was made, March to October 1859.
- Coll 9, Application by the Reverend William Butler, Superintendent of American Missions at Lucknow (Methodist Episcopal Church), to be vested with the legal right to solemnize marriage throughout the several stations of that Mission in Oudh, Rohilkhand and Kumaon, April to October 1859.
- Coll 10, Sanction of an expenditure of 16 rupees per mensem on account of punkah pullers, etc, required during the hot season for the office of the Government Translator, April to October 1859.
- Coll 11, Correspondence regarding the supply of ice for use in the hospitals of the European troops at Bareilly, April to October 1859.
- Coll 12, Correspondence regarding the purchase of paper for the Government Press, April to October 1859.
- Coll 13, Correspondence regarding the permanent entertainment of an Establishment for the Government Press at Allahabad, and the purchase of stock for the use of the Press, March to October 1859.
- Coll 14, Correspondence regarding the salary of A W Wollaston, Officiating Government Translator, while in transit from Agra to Allahabad to join his appointment, March to October 1859.
- Coll 15, Sanction of 2,000 rupees for the purchase of pig lead required for the use of the Government Press, Allahabad, April to October 1859.
- Coll 16, Proceedings of a meeting of the Fatehgarh Ice Committee, held on 2nd April 1859, concerning the disposal of the ice made at Fatehgarh during the previous cold season.
- Coll 17, Petition of Mr Durand, Tent Maker and Commission Agent at Fatehgarh, complaining against the discourtesy of C R Lindsay, Officiating Magistrate of Farrukhabad, in ordering him to be ejected out of his Court, before a large concourse of natives and others, who were there present, April to October 1859.
- Coll 18, Statements showing the number of bills passed and disbursements sanctioned by Government during the 2nd Quarter of 1859.
- Coll 19, Appointments made by Government during the 2nd Quarter of 1859: the Revd C A L Whyte to be Chaplain of Cawnpore; the Revd F W Kingsford to be Assistant Chaplian of Allahabad; and the Revd F W Ellis to officiate as Chaplain of Jounpore [Jaunpur].
