Phra Ou Pa Khout monk statue Burma called Phra Beuakhem monk statue but Sathou Nyai Chantharin Chinnathammo give named: Phra Pharata monk statue is inside Sim of Vat Phou Khouay Phokharam, Luang Prabang province, it is a monk statue that Sathou Nyai Chantharin Chinnathammo, Abbot of Vat Phou Khouay and Buddhist lay people over 150 people get on boat of Mr. Homphan and Mrs. Sengchan from Luang Prabang on 10th November B.E. 2546 (C.E.2003) for receiving the main Buddha statue for the Sim of Vat Phou Khouay at Huay Xai district, Borkeo province. When arrived Ban Pak Ngeum they find a bronze monk statue on the Mekong river bank, than they stop on route invite a bronze monk statue on boat with them. when they had received The main Buddha statue for the Sim of Vat Phou Khouay at Huay Xai district, Borkeo province, they get on boat along down from there to Luang Prabang province and invite to stand inside the Sim of Vat Phou Khouay until now. There was marvellous story about this a bronze monk statue such as: Sathou Nyai Chantharin Chinnathammo wrote in a book of Phra Pharatava when a bronze monk statue stands in Vat Phou Khouay about 2-3 months there is Burmar people come here for have a look and brought a castle made by bronze for kept and tell that “this bronze monk statue is secret and called Phra Ou Pa Khout in Burmar, you can call for the rain, in Burmar when arrived July every year they will try risk monk statue along the Mekong and who live on liver side will get and invite up from the Mekong but it is mavillous this bronze monk statue float to Laos” accoding to people who live along river bank of Mekong said that: when this bronze monk statue float arrived at Ban Hath Sak and villager of here received and find bamboo raft, robe, alms, monk fan and book decorate by umberla cover and he break bamboo raft and he think that he will kept at temple of Ban Hath Sak but abbot said you can’t not keep in here because it is not lucky. So, he make raft by banana tree with four pice and continue float. Many day ago banna raft float arrived at Ban Pak Beng, villager of Ban Pak Beng will take a wood for build houe but they see raft of bronze monk statue on bamboo raft and they see blood on it so they call to villagers adult of Ban Pak Beng should take it or not but villager adult of Ban Pak Beng said can’t take because it will unlucky for us. So, they continue float down along river untill arrived Ban Pak Ngeum and villager afaird that when they fishing they afraid to near and will get sick and they think should try to continue float but they can’t becuase they can’t catch it, seem that at night his child son cry by no reason and that nihgt he dreamt to see a monk and a grandfather nun to tell him that “you don’t take or catch a bronze monk statue. Because owner they from the south will invite a bronze monk statue”. when he get up and telling for his dearm to Villagers listen then nobody catch that bronze monk statue. next three day, The procession for invite the main Buddha of Vat Phou Khouay head by Sathou Nyai Chantharin Chinnathammo, Abbot of Vat Phou Khouay by boat along Mekong from Luang Prabang to Huay Sai district, Borkeo province they find a bronze monk statue at there and invite to stand in Vat Phou Khouay until nowaday.
