Phra That Chomsi or Phousi Mountain, Luang Prabang province, 2006. Phousi Mountain was located on the upper slopes of 100m-highth, the old named: Phoununthakanghe is center of Luang Prabang town. Phousi moutain you can go there with two stairs way such as western between of Palace museum, there are 328 stairs and one way in the eastern on the way on Nam Khan you will passed Vat Tham Phousi, when you are on the top you can see views of all Luang Prabang, in the evening there are tourist go there for watch sunset . on the day of Lao New Year villagers of Luang Prabang would like to giving alms and they take stricky rice and candy lay along the stair after giving alms and they will beat the drum at there for tell people know the time, they will beat the drum every three hours or they go for regaurd one time.
