From left to right: Sathou Nyai Khamchan Virachitta Mahathera, Abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam, Sathou Nyai Chantharin Chinnathammo, Abbot of Vat Phou Khouay and Sathou Nyai Onkeo Kittiphattho, Abbot of Vat Pak Khan giving a blessing to a faith of ceremony and lay people participating the ceremony after they offered gifts of offerings.There is a message on the verso of this photo that: " 13th of October, 2005, Buddha statue enlightenment ceremony at Vat Simongkhoun, In good faith by Ms. Phaeng Saengchan of Ban Khili, For Sathou Onkeo of Vat Pak Khan"..............................................................*According to Buddhist believe who makes Buddha statue for being Buddhabousa (Buddha worship) in Buddhism, before offering Buddha statue to a temple or worship in a house, an enlightenment ceremony should be held for that Buddha statue for being sacred and supposed to be a representative of the Lord Buddha.
