Vat Aham erected in 1822.by King Mantaturat.previous this temple was the worship Haw of the land's ancestor(Phu Ngo Ya Ngo which built by King Fa Ngum.(right) giant effigy,and (left) Hanouman monkey effigy both standing protector for temple.in 1875 Pra Sa Boun moved Puan district.Xieng Kuang province to live here then King Ounkham set the watering ceremony lift the Pra Sa Boun be teacher.that people call:(Rasakuhongtham). the he built a dwelling in the east and built a small Sim in the back named Vat Muang Puan.and built the Haw Tai in the middle of the pond in the back of Sim.because it decaied so.the committee of Haw Sa Nam Luang construction rerestored.in 1963 monks found the worthy thing inside the wall back as: two bracelets gold. weight 7.2 Bat,and 7 Bat. a box gold of the lime stone(foe betel) weight=4 Bat.and a silver bracelet 1 Kg.This photo was taken in 1954.
