That Ing Hang in Savannaket provice,That Ing Hang is about 11 km northeast via Rte 9,then 3km.and thought to have been built in the mid-16th century,by the legend told it erected at the same time of That Pranom in Nakon Pranom,Thailand,may occupy and earlier site sacred to the Si Khotaboun Kingdom.why call that That Ing Hang,because once time Buddha arrived here and is believed to have stopped here to be fit to construct the Buddhist architecture when he was sick during his wandering back in ancient times.he rested by leaning(ing) on a hang tree (That ing Hang),That Ing Hang was substantially re-built durng the reign of King Sethathirat in 1548-71.and be the same art of That Pranom of Lao style.This photo was taken in 1954.(Text from Lao Lonely planet 2008).
