- Scope & Content:
- This letter is stated as being a true copy. James Tronson relays information obtained from the Agent at Shargah [Sharjah], Moolah Hussain [Mullah Husain], describing how two Hamereah [Al Ḩamrīyah] buggarahs were attacked and plundered by a number of the Abothabee [Abu Dhabi] people. Tronson also states that the Agent has informed him that the presents and letter from Samuel Hennell to the Sheik of Abothabee [Sheikh Said bin Tahnun Al Nahayan] were seized by some Debai [Dubai] Bedouis [Bedouins]. The items were taken to the Sheik of Debai, who sent them to the Agent, stating that the men who seized them were not aware that they were the Resident's presents.
