Letter from William Sherer, Civil Auditor at Fort William, to Lieutenant William Bruce, Resident at Bushire, requesting to report on what had been done with the presents (consisting of jewelry, cattle and other items) that were made over to the Bushire Residency upon the termination of Lieutenant-Colonel John Malcolm's last mission to Persia, and transmitting the copy of two letters sent from Sherer at Fort William on 13 June 1812, one to N. H. Smith, late Ambassador to Scind [Sindh, Pakistan], and the other sent to Bruce, both containing lists of presents.
