The collection consists of the following small collections of papers, each of which has an extract from the Narrative, dated 11th June 1859, and a table of contents:
- Coll 1, Correspondence regarding the transfer of Native Doctor Shibdut Josee from Bhopal to Garhwal, February 1858 to June 1859.
- Coll 2, Correspondence regarding the erection of a Dispensary at Allahabad in memory of the late Lieutenant Governor of the North Western Provinces, J R Colvin, January to June 1859.
- Coll 3, Pay abstract and contingent bill from the Superintendent of the Agra Medical School for December 1858.
- Coll 4, Pay abstract and contingent bills for the Agra Vaccine Establishment for December 1858.
- Coll 5, Sanction of a temporary Postal Establishment for the purpose of maintaining the communication between Jubbulpore and Mundlah [Mandla], and between Jubbulpore and Sohagpur, November 1858 to June 1859. Includes a list of the proposed establishment.
- Coll 6, Request for a delay in the removal of the office of the Accountant, North Western Provinces, from Agra to Allahabad until September 1859, December 1858 to June 1859.
- Coll 7, Correspondence regarding an application by R M Munniss, an American Presbyterian Missionary, for a self-supporting agricultural Christian mission in the Fatehpur District, December 1858 to June 1859.
- Coll 8, Correspondence directing that the Establishment of the late Adolphie Schlagintweit be paid up and the scientific instruments kept at the Surveyor General's Office at Simla until an opportunity arose to send them to Calcutta, December 1858 to June 1859.
- Coll 9, Report of a successful attack on the rebels in the Humeerpore [Hamirpur] District by the Field Detachment under Captain Hilliard, January to June 1859.
- Coll 10, Annual report of the Benares Native Hospital, and its three Branch Dispensaries, for the year 1858.
- Coll 11, Correspondence on the subject of the allowances of Native Doctors in charge of Charitable Dispensaries, and the case of Dr Shaikh Gholam Ghose, in charge of the Almora Dispensary, September 1854 to June 1859.
- Coll 12, Report for the year 1858 on Raja Kali Shankar's Asylum at Benares, with an Institution for the blind and destitute, and a Leper Hospital attached.
- Coll 13, Pay abstract and contingent bills for the Agra Vaccine Establishment for January and February 1859.
- Coll 14, Pay abstract and contingent bills of the Establishment attached to the Agra Medical School for January and February 1859.
- Coll 15, Report and Local Agency Accounts of the District of Garhwal for the year 1857-58.
- Coll 16, Precautionary measures against accidents from the fracture or drooping of the telegraph wire over the roads in the station of Allahabad, February to June 1859.
- Coll 17, Contingent bill of the late Superintendent of Stationery on account of expenses incurred in the Stationary Depot in the Garrison of Agra, from January to July 1858.
- Coll 18, Correspondence regarding the nomination of a temporary Central Committee for the examination of Junior Civil Servants, December 1858 to June 1859.
- Coll 19, Bills on account of printing, purchase of books, etc passed under the orders of Government, North Western Provinces, February 1856 to June 1859.
- Coll 20, Leave of absence granted to certain officers during the 1st Quarter of 1859, and another copy of the papers regarding a memorial to the memory of the late Lieutenant Governor of the North Western Provinces, J R Colvin (see Coll 2).
