Letter regarding Sir Bartle's departure from his position as Governor of Bombay and his forthcoming role on the Council of India.
The letter also discusses the need for a new agent at Muskat and the decision by the Government of India to view the question of Augam [Henjam] as one of purely telegraphic interest and not to pursue the possibilities of a free port and coal depot there.
