Letter from Lewis Pelly to Sir Seymour Fitzgerald, Governor of Bombay
- Scope & Content:

Letter regarding Pelly's intentions to meet the Prince Governor General of Shiraz whom he considers to be about the best administrator and military leader in Persia and his hope that this meeting will resolve many of the disputes in the Persian littoral of the Gulf.
The letter goes on to give Pelly's thoughts on Russia's position in central asia; the proposed telegraph line via the Red Sea and matters relating to Bushire, Augam [Henjam] and Muscat.
