The letter is reporting that the Resident has departed from Bushire and arrived at Bassidore [Bāsaʻīdū].
It further reports that the troops have been embarked on their transports for Bombay, along with the HC Cruizer Vestal, which is charged with conveying the records of the Political Agent at Qeshm. As a result, the Resident requests copies of all correspondence sent to and from the Political Agent, up to the arrival of Lieutenant-Colonel Brackley Kennett.
