Letter regarding the amicable settlement of affairs at Bunder Abbass [Bandar Abbas] by the Shah; Pelly's intention to travel to Shiraz (to meet with the Governor-General there) and the Persian Government having finally promised to allow the british [and others] to purchase property in Persia.
The letter also refers to an enclosed letter from the Sultan of Muscat declaring Aujam [Henjam] as his territory and transferring it to Britain for their use, as well as discussing the serious nature of matters at Bahrein with fights at sea and in Guttur [Qatar] and the troubles being caused by Shaik Mahomed (Shaikh Muḥammed bin Khalīfah Āl Khalīfah).
The enclosure is no longer with this letter.
