The collection includes a copy of the Post Office letter received from India, No.1 of 1860, dated 5 January 1860.
The correspondence also includes a report submitted by R H Williamson, Officiating Director General of the Post Office of India, regarding the litigation which had taken place between the Government and Cowasjee Ruttonjee, the late contractor for conveying the Government mails on the line of road between Bombay and Indore.
