Translation of the proclamation signed by Felix Jones, Political Agent with the Field Force and Resident in the Persian Gulf, originally written in Persian and read to the inhabitants of the Island of Karrack in the Persian Gulf [Kharg Island, Iran] and then attached to the Gate of the Fort for information. The proclamation is missing the first folio, and starts from point 4, listing rights and duties for the inhabitants of the Island, seized by British forces on 3 December 1856.
