Note regarding a letter and several packets of correspondence which he sent on to both Pelly and to Smith, Elder & Co, in order to have the papers copied for William Lockyer Merewether.
A postscript to the letter comments on Pelly's description of Jacob as 'unemployed' in one of Pelly's letters to the Daily News and Jacob's observation that he is now working harder than he ever has in his life.
