- This letter gives instructions on the relief of guards at the factory at Bushire. It includes the following enclosures: an extract (no. 33, dated 10 September 1783) from commands issued by the Court of Directors to the Presidency of Bombay, setting out new company regulations relating to the return to England of Company officials; a proclamation (no. 34, dated 26 September 1783) by the King of a peace treaty between Great Britain and Spain, concluded 3 September 1783 and ratified 19 September 1783.
