- In this letter William Taylour Thomson, Her Majesty's Chargé d'Affaires at the Court of Persia, informs Arnold Burrowes Kemball, Resident in the Persian Gulf, that he has resumed his diplomatic relations with the Persian Government, and asks Kemball to makes this known to the British subjects in Bushire. The recto of the second folio of this letter is blank; however, there is a note on the verso of the second folio, which states that this letter was received on 14 December 1853.
