Last folio of a letter regarding the movements of the Viceroy around India; a visit to Pelly from Mr Cox (Aitchison's father-in-law); letters to Pelly from his wife; and reports in the Bombay Papers that Pelly is to be married and will be the next Governor of Bombay.
The earlier folio(s) of the letter, including the date and address, are missing, however as the letter refers to the announcement that Pelly is to be married, which took place in 1878.
