Letter in Persian, with English translation, from Farukh Khan (a Persian Government Official) thanking Pelly for his letter of friendly greetings following his arrival in Bushire and for the information provided by Pelly about his career and appointment as Political Resident in the Persian Gulf.
The letter itself is undated, however the date of its receipt at the Residency in Bushire is included in the translation.
The letter also includes the ink seal of Farukh Khan.
