A summarised version of the account of the Persian Army's defeat to the Tekkie [Tekke] Turcomans at Merv which was given in detail in folios 21-24.

The summary includes the account of how the Persians were defeated, the rumours of what happened to the captured forces, the Prince Governors flight from Merv, the attack by the Saloor [Salur] and Sarookh [Shahrukh] Turcoman tribes on the remaining army, and reporting that of the original army of 30,000 at least 20,000 are dead or in slavery to the Tekkies, some thousands more were believed to have perished in the desert, and a further six thousand slaughtered by the Turcoman tribes, and that the last surviving remnant was in flight with the Prince, whose whereabouts was now unknown.

The summary also mentions the French Gentleman who had accompanied the Persian Force as a photographer, the movements of Persian reinforcements at Herat, and the likelihood that the Saloor and Sarookh tribes will again join forces with the Tekkies.
